Returns / Refunds Policy

Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980

In accordance with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, “If any product we supply fails prematurely due to an inherent fault or manufacturing defect, we will provide you with an appropriate remedy — such as a repair, replacement, or refund.” You may return your purchase within 14 days of receipt for any reason, provided that the goods are new, unused, and in resalable condition. Please note that special orders, sale items, consumables (such as saw blades, bandsaw blades), and generators are non-returnable. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Returned products must be unused, complete with all accessories and manuals, and securely repackaged in their original packaging. Please ensure that items are placed inside a protective outer box to prevent damage in transit. Returns that arrive damaged or have labels/tape affixed directly to the sales packaging will not be accepted. For your peace of mind, we recommend using a tracked and insured courier service that requires a delivery signature. For gifts or items not intended for immediate use, please inspect them upon receipt. Manufacturers continuously update and improve their products, so minor variations in colour or appearance may occur. However, all specifications will remain equal to or better than those advertised. If your item develops a fault after the initial 14-day period but within the manufacturer’s warranty, it may be returned to us for inspection, repair, or replacement under our return-to-base warranty policy. Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer. If a genuine fault is found, we will repair or replace the product and ship it back free of charge. If no fault is detected, a return shipping fee of €5.95 will apply.

Return Procedure:

Munster Welding Supplies offers a 14-day return policy. To return an item, please send it back to us along with your receipt or packing slip, and we will process your refund as quickly as possible. Our return terms and conditions are as follows:
  1. a) Item(s) must be returned and received within 14 days of original purchase. b) Returns must include our official Returns Form, available for download below. c) Items must be in original condition, with all tags attached and in their original packaging. d) Do not tape or attach labels directly to retail packaging. e) For exchanges, please specify clearly; we will contact you to arrange €5.95 P&P for reshipping. f) Munster Welding Supplies does not cover the cost of returning goods. g) Refunds will only be credited to the original payment method used. h) Please allow up to 7 working days for refunds to be processed once goods are received.

How to Return Your Item

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure returned items are securely packaged and shipped safely. Please use a reliable, insured courier that requires a signature upon delivery. You can also return items in person to our warehouse in Galway. Please call ahead to schedule a drop-off time. Be sure to include a completed Returns Form with your item to help us process your return efficiently.
